Entry note: Free beach and village walk.

Turunç wraps a small pebble-and-sand beach in a tight amphitheatre of green hills. Once a fishing hamlet, it keeps a slower rhythm than Marmaris centre — a handful of family-run restaurants, a weekly market, and boat trips to nearby coves. The drive from Marmaris over the hills is short but panoramic; water taxis run in season for a sea approach.

For a quieter bay day within easy reach of Marmaris nightlife when you want it.

Local tip

Take the dolmuş over the hill for the view, return by boat if the sea is calm — the approach from the water is the classic Turunç moment.
