Entry note: Beach free; boat or taxi from Turunç/Turunç bay.

Kumlubük hides behind a headland south of Turunç, so it never developed the bungalow sprawl of busier bays. The water is clear, the beach a mix of pebble and sand, and day boats from Marmaris and Turunç drop swimmers for a few hours. A hiking trail from Turunç rewards the sure-footed with the same cove without a fare.

For a cove that still feels cut off despite being minutes from Marmaris by sea.

Local tip

Hike from Turunç if you are fit — the boat schedule can feel rushed; bring food, services are minimal.

Boat or steep coastal hike; no step-free access.
