Kumlubük Beach
A quiet pebble beach with clear turquoise water, backed by pine-covered hills. Boat or taxi from Turunç is the way to reach it.
Kumlubük is where you go when the chaos of Marmaris starts to grate. It’s a crescent-shaped pebble beach, water so clear you can see your toes even when you're out of your depth. The pine trees come right down to the shore, so there’s natural shade if you get there early enough to claim a spot.
Reaching it feels like an escape: a winding road through the hills from Turunç, or a short boat hop across the bay. There are a couple of small restaurants behind the beach, nothing fancy, just fresh seafood and cold drinks. Don’t expect sunbeds lined up like soldiers; it’s more low-key than that.
Weekdays are your best bet. On summer weekends locals from Marmaris and Turunç fill it up by noon, so aim for a morning arrival, have a swim, then eat something at the waterside before the afternoon sun gets intense.

Bring water shoes—the pebbles get hot and sharp. The best shade is under the pine trees at the right end of the beach.
