Babadağ Cable Car
A cable car that climbs from the base of Babadağ mountain up to a high-altitude observation platform, offering wide views over Ölüdeniz, the turquoise lagoon, and distant islands.
The ride itself is a steady, quiet ascent in four-person cabins, taking about 10 minutes to reach the upper station. At the top, you step onto a broad wooden deck that wraps around the summit’s edge—no glass barriers, just rails and the breeze. On clear days you can see from Fethiye bay all the way to the Greek island of Rhodes.
Most visitors don’t just stay on the platform. This is one of the world’s busiest tandem paragliding launch sites, and watching pilots unfold their wings, clip in passengers, and sprint toward the cliff is a spectacle in itself. You can simply take in the show, or book a tandem flight separately if you’re feeling brave. The café at the summit serves simple snacks and tea, and there are plenty of benches where you can sit and wait for the light to change.
