Babadağ Cable Car

A cable car from Ölüdeniz to Babadağ summit — launch point for paragliders and one of the Mediterranean's widest panoramas.

Entry note: Cable car return ticket; paragliding tandem flights booked separately.

Babadağ dominates the skyline behind Ölüdeniz, and a modern cable car now lifts visitors to around 1,900 metres without the old jeep track. From the top, Ölüdeniz lagoon, the coast toward Antalya, and paragliders circling below unfold in one sweep. Tandem flights still launch from the upper stations in season; even if you stay on the ground, the ride and the terrace cafes are worth the ticket.

For the Ölüdeniz view from above and to watch paragliders launch at arm's length.

Local tip

Go on a clear morning — haze kills the coast view by afternoon; jacket essential at the summit even in summer.
