Çamlıca Tower
A modern telecommunications tower on Little Çamlıca Hill with 360-degree views of Istanbul, plus a restaurant and café for a longer break.
Rising from Little Çamlıca Hill, this telecommunications tower doubles as one of the highest public viewpoints in the city. The observation deck gives you a genuine 360° look at Istanbul—the Bosphorus, the bridges, the Sea of Marmara, and on a good day, the Princes' Islands. There's an indoor section and an outdoor terrace. The terrace is the spot for unobstructed photos, but it gets windy, so hold onto your hat. Two restaurant floors sit above the deck: one upscale, one a café. They're priced separately and aren't always open to walk-ins, so call ahead if you're set on a meal with a view.
“The highest public viewpoint in Istanbul; you'll see the Bosphorus, historic peninsula, and Princes' Islands in one sweep.”
Go on a weekday afternoon to avoid crowds; the outdoor terrace gets seriously windy, so bring a jacket even in summer.
Elevators provide step-free access to the observation deck and restaurants.
