Entry note: Boat access; often on Twelve Islands day tours from Göcek.
Tasyaka Cove became Bedri Rahmi Bay after the painter left his fish fresco on a boulder in 1973. The pine-shaded inlet still draws day boats and gulets for grilled fish lunches on board or ashore. The water is clear enough to swim straight from the anchored fleet, and the painted rock is easy to spot from the water.
“To see the famous painted fish and swim in a bay that defined the Göcek gulet circuit.”
Local tip
Ask your captain to point out the original rock painting before lunch — it is easy to miss once tables are set on deck.
