Entry note: Central Bodrum swim spot; public beach section beside the hotels

Bardakçı Cove sits within walking distance of central Bodrum, tucked just west of the marina. It's a narrow inlet split between a slim public beach and the sunlounger-lined piers of neighbouring hotels. The water here is usually flat and transparent, and the view looks east to the Castle of St. Peter and the white hillside houses. Because it's so close to town, the cove can fill up quickly in summer; the public patch is small, so it's more of a quick-dip spot than a day-long beach.

To take a quick swim with a view of Bodrum Castle without leaving town.

Local tip

The public beach section is squeezed between two hotel piers; find the narrow staircase just past the marina's western edge. Weekdays before 11am are quietest.

Accessibility

Access is via a set of uneven stairs; the cove is not wheelchair accessible.
