Tunektepe Cable Car
A hillside cable car whisking you up to a 618-metre summit with wide views over Konyaaltı Beach, the city, and the distant Taurus peaks.
Tünektepe Teleferik runs from a station just off Konyaaltı’s shoreline to the top of Tünektepe Hill, a forested peak that feels a world away from the beach crowds. The cabins are modern and enclosed, gliding silently over pine woods before the city falls away. At the summit, a viewing platform and a cafe offer a 360-degree look at Antalya: the crescent of Konyaaltı Beach, the urban sprawl, the port, and the snowy backs of the Beydağları in winter. It’s a popular spot for a reason, but the crowds thin out considerably outside of sunset hours. The ride itself is about 9 minutes each way, and once you’re up there, you’re free to linger—though there isn’t a huge amount to do besides snapping photos and sipping overpriced tea. The cable car is firmly on the tourist circuit now, but early mornings or cloudy afternoons can still deliver a quiet, local feel away from the selfie sticks.

The lower station parking is tiny; take the Konyaaltı minibus (dolmuş) to avoid circling for a spot. The summit’s tea and corn are overpriced—pack your own.
