Bu etkinlik hakkında

Santral Istanbul's Energy Museum preserves the original turbines, generators, and switchboards of the Silahtarağa Power Plant exactly as they were when the station closed in 1983. The machinery is monumental and strangely beautiful. After the museum, the surrounding campus hosts rotating contemporary art exhibitions in the converted industrial halls. A combined visit takes two to three hours. Entry to galleries is often free on the first Sunday of each month.

Bunun gibi daha fazlası

The first brewery in Turkey was started in 1890 by two brothers from Switzerland, the Bomonti brothers. In 1902 they built a new facility in the southern part of Constantinople (now known in English as Istanbul) which still stands there today. It is situated in the Bomonti district, which of course takes it name from the factory.
