Fethiye rewards a short arc more than a scattered list. If you try to do the lagoon, Butterfly Valley, Kayaköy, and the marina before dinner, the day turns into transfer time. This afternoon stays local: Paspatur lanes, the rock tombs above the rooftops, then a long beach walk at Çalış.
Begin in Fethiye old town while the lanes still have shade. Skim the harbour edge, grab water, and do not treat the bazaar as a two-hour obligation. You want orientation and a coffee, then the climb.
Walk up to the Amyntas rock tomb when the sun is still workable. The view over town is the point as much as the façade. Bring water; the path is short but exposed. Pair this with Telmessos only if you still have legs — otherwise keep the arc clean.
Finish at Çalış beach for the long promenade and sea air. This is the reset after stone and stairs. If you still want the famous lagoon photos, save Ölüdeniz for a separate morning with an early start — not as a bolted-on fourth stop.
