Asian side by ferry: a clean afternoon arc

A ferry-first Kadikoy afternoon that pairs market energy with a calmer Moda finish, without pretending the Bosphorus crossing is a short walk.

The Asian side deserves its own rhythm. If you are coming from Karakoy, Eminonu, or Besiktas, budget the ferry as real time and treat Kadikoy as the entry point, not the whole afternoon. Market first while energy is high, then walk south toward Moda when you want the day to soften.

Timing note

Allow 25 to 35 minutes door to door for a Bosphorus crossing plus terminal walking. Sunset returns are popular; board one ferry earlier than you think you need.
