About this event

The reborn AKM — reopened in 2021 after a twenty-year closure — has become Istanbul's most important venue for classical performance. Tonight's gala programme presents Turkey's leading opera soloists in a selection of arias, duets, and ensemble pieces from Verdi, Puccini, and Donizetti. The main hall's restored acoustics and gold-and-white interior provide a fitting backdrop. Pre-concert drinks at the bar from 19:00. Performance begins at 20:30.
