Originally called the Cité de Péra, Çiçek Pasajı is a famous passageway in Beyoğlu. It's a single, covered arcade filled with tables from the traditional meyhanes and restaurants that line both sides.
It's a classic stop on an İstiklal walk, perfect for a quick drink or a full meal. The atmosphere is always buzzing, especially in the evenings when the music starts. It connects directly to the bustling Balık Pazarı, so you can easily combine a visit with exploring the market stalls.
For a quieter look, walk through in the late morning before the restaurants fully set up for lunch.
The passage itself is step-free but can be very crowded and narrow when tables are out. The historic cobblestone floor is uneven.
