Entry note: Long sandy resort strip; public beach sections between hotel clubs

Belek's coastline is primarily occupied by large resort hotels, but a few public access points remain between them. The beach itself is a wide ribbon of fine sand that runs for kilometres, with shallow water lapping gently.

You won't find sunbeds or cafes here unless you've booked into a club. Instead, it's a place to walk barefoot, watch fishing boats on the horizon, or just sit and listen to the sea. The lack of commercial facilities means you should bring everything you need.

Weekdays outside peak summer months, you might have the view almost to yourself. Early mornings, the sand is smooth from the night tide, and the light is soft over the Taurus Mountains in the distance.

A stretch of public sand where you can escape the all-inclusive crowds and listen to the waves.

Local tip

The public beaches are tucked between the all-inclusive clubs; look for narrow sandy paths leading down from the main coastal road, not the hotel entrances.

Accessibility

No paved ramps to the sand; wheelchair users may find it difficult to reach the shore without assistance.
