Antalya Clock Tower
The Antalya Clock Tower stands at the entrance to Kaleiçi, a 20th-century Ottoman landmark perfect for a quick photo stop.
Built in 1901 during the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid II, the Antalya Clock Tower (Antalya Saat Kulesi) marks the historic Kale Kapısı (Castle Gate) leading into Kaleiçi, the old town. The stone tower features an ornate clock face and Ottoman architectural details, serving as a recognizable symbol of the city.
Though the tower is not open to the public, it sits in the middle of a pedestrian crossroads where visitors can easily stop for photos. Its location at the main entrance to Kaleiçi makes it a natural meeting point and a popular spot for travelers beginning their exploration of the old quarter.
There’s no admission fee and no need to spend more than a few minutes here. The surrounding area is filled with cafes and souvenir shops, so you can combine the visit with a stroll through the narrow streets of Kaleiçi.
